As the Head of Commercial, your days will be filled with exciting challenges and opportunities to make a significant impact for Hyfen. From collaborating with the sales team to set strategic goals in the morning, to leading the development and implementation of account-based sales strategies throughout the day, your role is crucial in driving revenue growth within the Dutch pension ecosystem and EU Compliant Cloud market. You analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities. Guiding and supporting your sales team, building strong relationships with customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams are all part of your daily responsibilities. As a leader, you empower your team and work towards a cohesive go-to-market strategy, ultimately shaping the future of the company's commercial operations. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact and drive success in these specific markets.


  • Lead the development and implementation of account-based sales strategies to target and engage key customers in the Dutch Pension Ecosystem and fintech markets.

  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team, helping them achieve their targets and maximize customer acquisition.

  • Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their success with our products and services.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align messaging and campaigns with sales objectives, ensuring a cohesive and effective go-to-market strategy.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive long-term customer value.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in B2B SaaS sales, continuously improving processes and methodologies to drive success.

Must Have Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in a leadership role within a B2B SaaS or FinTech company.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and empower teams within these markets.

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

  • Strong knowledge of account-based and/or consultative sales strategies and methodologies.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market dynamics and identify growth opportunities.

  • Strong business acumen and a customer-centric approach.

  • Proven experience in successfully scaling B2B SaaS sales operations and driving revenue growth.

  • A deep understanding of the Dutch pension ecosystem

  • A deep understanding of European FinTech markets, including the regulatory landscape and customer needs for compliance.

  • Strong network and relationships within the Dutch pension ecosystem and/or FinTech sector.

  • Experience in leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Passion for technology and a genuine interest in the B2B SaaS industry.
